AC Shadows Introduces Unexpected AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The plot introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre trials and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Features

Players who finish the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
